When it comes to healthy food we always understand that it is green vegetables, fruits, low fat and low calorie edibles . Today let us learn to make green gram ladoos with green gram and sugar as main ingredients. Alternatively we can make the same ladoo by substituting sugar by jaggery.Here i have used sugar. So lets go with its making process
Ingredients used:
1 cup split green gram(green moong dal)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
2 teaspoon fresh milk
2 teaspoon cardamom powder
10-12 chopped cashew nuts
Procedure :
Dry roast green gram and let it cool completely. You can roast it before hand also. Grind it properly. It will be slightly coarse.
Take a pan and heat ghee. Add green gram powder and sauté it for about 2 minutes. Add cardamom powder, cashew nuts, sugar and mix it properly. Add cream and sauté it for 2-3 times. Switch off the gas stove.
You can add other nuts also if you like.
Let the mixture cool slightly. Take about 2 tablespoon of mixture and make ladoos. Let it cool completely. Store it in an air tight container.
